The Molecular Pathology Laboratory participated in the Night of the Scientists, one of the most popular annual science events in Tartu. The theme was “How to Live to Be 100 Years Old” (“Kuidas elada 100-aastaseks?”).
In collaboration with the Sports Institute, visitors tested their physical capabilities and explored how these can change across the lifespan. A memory game introduced immune markers used to study ageing, while an ideas chart explored factors that influence ageing. The team also hosted a popular pipetting station for younger visitors. Overall, 40 people visited the laboratory.
